Support for members in regions with few meetings
There are many face-to-face CoDA meetings across the UK, but meetings aren’t available in every town or county. The National Service Committee (NSC), which provides services and support for CoDA groups and members across the UK, would like to help people in areas where there are few or no local meetings. This may include helping members connect with one another and start new meetings, as well as signposting newcomers and existing members to other resources that can support their CoDA recovery.
If you are happy to use WhatsApp, you can join the CoDA UK Regions – WhatsApp Community to connect with other CoDA members in your area.
The regional chats currently available are listed below. These are broad, informal geographical areas rather than official regional boundaries. Please choose whichever group best fits where you live. You are welcome to join more than one.
Members of the CoDA UK National Service Committee (NSC) are present in the regional chats to offer support. At present, there are chats for:
- East Coast of the UK
- East of England
- North East England
- North West England
- Scotland
- South East England
- South West England
- Wales
Please join the CoDA UK Regions – WhatsApp community, then select the group for your region. You are welcome to join more than one regional group.
The chats provide a space to connect with other CoDA members and talk about CoDA recovery.
There is also a General Queries group for asking anything and everything about CoDA.

If you are unable to attend a face-to-face meeting in your area and there aren’t yet enough local members to start one, there are many online CoDA meetings you can attend.
