“Story Gatherers” Project

We are in the process of compiling entries for a stand-alone new book called “Story Gatherers” project.

This stand-alone book, will celebrate our individual journey into CoDA and passing on our Experience, Strength and Hope to the CoDA Fellowship.

These will be stories from across the International World of CoDA. They will be similar, yet different, from the stories at the back of the CoDA Blue Book, written more than 30 years ago, but “Story Gatherers” will encompass the CoDA Fellowship worldwide, with people relating their own personal stories: of where they’ve come from, where they’ve been and where they’re heading, in their recovery in the program of Codependents Anonymous.

We are interested in people of all different diversity, ethnicity, race, religion, LGBGT etc. and especially immigrant families. It might also be helpful to hear different people’s stories whilst they might have been going through the COVID-19 pandemic and how it might have strengthened their resolve and recovery in the face of adversity, and their journey to discovering or rediscovering their own loving, kind, gentle non-judgemental and all accepting Higher Power.

All entries must be written and received, hopefully, by the end of the first week in February, and be between 900 – 4000words, or 3 to 10/12 pages long. These stories have to be edited etc. and presented for approval and acceptance for the CSC 2021 in Ottawa, Canada ahead of time.

Help others receive your valued Experience, Strength and Hope by giving the support of writing your own story for us.
