women only, step, Big Book, topic, chair

no level access, no adapted toilet, no induction loop, nearby parking

We meet in the Quiet Room on the first floor of the URC building on Portsmouth Road. It is accessed by the side door on the slope alongside the roadway, which gives access to the car park from Portsmouth Road. The bell is on the right-hand side of the door, marked ‘Quiet Room’. Once through the door, please climb the stairs, turn right through the swing door and it’s the 2nd door on the right, just after the loo.

We have been running a face-to-face meeting continuously since allowed after the first lockdown and are now permitted to continue despite lockdown. Provision has currently been made for up to 12 people to attend our meeting safely. We are assured that there will be provision for a greater number to attend safely when the need arises. Please call 07971 046320 in advance if you wish to attend with a group, to ensure there we can arrange to make space for us all.

Please ensure that you maintain social distancing at all times. Please do NOT attend this meeting if you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), however mild, or you have received a positive coronavirus (COVID-19) test result.

A mask or other face covering must be worn on arrival, during and immediately after the meeting, for your own and others’ safety. You cannot be admitted to the meeting without a face covering.

On arrival, please ensure that you wash your hands in accordance with Government Guidelines or use the hand sanitiser, which is provided both at the front door and in the meeting. There are handwashing facilities next door to the Quiet Room.

For the purposes of assisting NHS Track and Trace and for the safety of other users of the church and their employees, we have been asked to keep a temporary record of members attending for 21 days, so please add your name and contact details to the list as soon as you arrive. In addition, please notify any position holder if, subsequent to a meeting, you develop symptoms of Covid-19 or receive a positive result of a test for that virus.

No sharing of materials can be allowed, so please bring your own copies of readings and books.

Please also take home any rubbish, such as disposable cups and tissues and do not place it in any of the bins at the church.
